Forever my brother.

In the early 80s, my family moved into a new community, where there weren't many others that looked like me. The first year I never felt so alone in my youth as I was just a big goofball full of love for other kids and simply wanted to have fun! My brother Hao was one of the first kids to invite me into his home. Neither Hao nor his family ever judged me, and I once again felt like part of a community I would learn to love and cherish for the rest of my life. ~ Thanks Brother I knew Hao was different than the rest of us. No one worked harder, was more brilliant, and was determined to conquer the big, bad world in front of us! Hao and his mother were up at the crack of dawn delivering newspapers in our community. I knew it was time for me to correct my path; one morning, when they were getting their day started delivering newspapers on my street, and I was coming home from the night before. Go figure! Yeah, I had a little growing up to do, and all my brothers were a few steps behind Hao, an example for all of us. No one is perfect, and I'm sure Hao had his shortcomings, but I cannot recall him ever having troubles or issues with anyone. One call & we would have dealt with that! - LOL That's a testament to his character and kind soul. I will never forget when we laughed and had serious conversations about life. Thanks for being an instrumental factor in my life. I can't wait to see you again, my friend & brother, for life... Ru
